Alex Watts

Alex has been involved in property since the early 1990’s when he founded one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious residential property management firms Central Letting Ltd. Central Letting was one of the first agencies in the business to have fully ARLA trained staff and gained a reputation as a dynamic, efficient and trusted company managing over £60 Million pounds worth of property. Over the last 15 years Alex has additionally developed a large number of very successful residential conversions and refurbishments focusing mainly at the highest quality end of the market. He quickly gained a reputation for an attention to detail and an uncompromising ethos that results in sensitively restored properties with stunning period features, seamlessly blended with the best of contemporary amenities for modern living. Alex founded Kingsford Estates in 2002 in order to further convey his ethos for development to the property market. Having sold Central Letting in 2003 Alex is now focussing on growing Kingsford Estates. Kingsford is now known as a specialist developer of some of the most prestigious and sought after residential developments in Edinburgh. Kingsford investment division continues to grow with an increasing portfolio of good quality commercial investments. Alex has helped Kingsford Estates to become one of the most successful and respected development and investment companies in Scotland.
Emma Lennox
Operations Director
Emma joined Kingsford Estates in May 2008 as Development Manager/ PA to Alex, with the vision of helping Alex to drive his businesses forward.
In 2011 she was appointed Operations Director. Emma provides strategic support & direction, and manages the smooth running of all our business operations.
Katherine Buchan
Property & Office Manager - currently on Maternity Leave
Katherine joined Kingsford Estates in November 2008. She is Property Manager to Kingsford’s residential and commercial portfolio that spans Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling.
She is also constantly searching for new development and investment opportunities in Edinburgh and beyond as well as dealing with the company accounts, marketing and media requirements.
Clovis Fletcher
Development Manager
Clovis was appointed Project Manager in Feb 2011. He helps to manage all our development projects and he's also constantly searching for new and exciting development and investment opportunities.
